GPA’s Strategy in the Meter Verification Process

  • Conducted meter verification and investigation through field testing/load analysis on 3-phase meters and single phase meters
  • Corrected inaccurate/defective meters and completed documentation process in a timely manner for proper adjustments and billing of accounts
  • Reviewed internal processes for deficiencies in the work order system and implemented procedures to improve application
  • Evaluated current procedures in the installation, removal and preventative maintenance program and adopted procedural changes
  • Placed proper controls for system access
  • Reviewed and adjusted inappropriately assigned customer accounts
  • Corrected estimated navy metering
  • Conduct annual review of system losses (ongoing)
