Apprenticeship
GPA continuously addresses staffing shortfalls due to a very small on-island labor pool having the experience and skills used in power plant operations and maintenance. In February 2004, GPA kicked off an apprenticeship program to address the critical staffing concerns.

The Apprenticeship Positions in the Generation Division include: Power Plant Operator and Instrument Technician.
